The Florentine Dipinta Satchel carries the interior organization of the classic Florentine Small Satchel with an exterior that is entirely its own. The interior zip pocket keeps valuables or personal items secure and separate, while two slip pockets and the cell phone pocket give earbuds, transit cards, and your device dedicated spots. The key hook keeps the interior tidy and your keys immediately accessible.What sets this satchel apart is its exterior: each bag is finished with abstract, hand-painted brushstrokes applied directly to Florentine leather by Italian artisans, making every piece one of a kind. No two Dipinta bags carry exactly the same pattern of color and movement, so the bag you carry is uniquely yours. The handles allow for an elegant hand or arm carry, and the detachable strap provides a closer shoulder carry for more active days. The Florentine leather underneath the paint develops its own patina over time, adding further depth and dimension. Hand-painted in Italy, this full-grain leather is brought to life with vibrant splatter detailing. Naturally milled for a soft, supple feel, it turns every bag into a one-of-a-kind statement piece.
Florentine leather has not been specifically treated for water repellency. Thus, the leather will temporarily darken when wet, and return to the original tone once completely dry. The waxed surface may assist in staving off some dirt. With continued use, a lovely shine or patina will develop, only enhancing the beauty of this leather. It is also characteristic for lighter colors to darken with use over time, and with exposure to light.Minor abrasions may be removed or lessened with the use of a very soft cloth and a gentle buffing action.This collection requires no creams, polishes or leather conditioning products to maintain its beauty.
